This hands-on curriculum balances fundamental motor skills with highly engaging physical games. Students will play, cooperate, test, and refine their coordination each week to develop confidence, spatial awareness, and a love for physical activity.
Beanbag Balance & Chaos Navigators - Learning Objectives:
Understand personal space boundaries versus general shared boundaries.
Develop core stability, posture control, and sudden direction changes.
Disc Gold and Frisbee Bowling- Master upper body throwing mechanics, wrist-flick release, and arm follow-through.
Develop hand-eye precision, focus, and visual distance estimation.
Puppy Dribbling & Cone Bowling Pass - Develop foot-eye coordination by tracking and navigating a moving ball.
Learn the mechanics of controlled "soft touches" and passing with the inside of the foot
Tee Hitting & Outfield Chase-
Learn the correct mechanics of a structural grip, stance, and rotational swing power.
Understand base-running pathways and tracking stationary objects in motion.
Tail Tag & Noodle Defenders-
Sharpen rapid reactive speeds and cognitive processing during physical play.
Practice strategic side-to-side cutting and rapid deceleration boundaries.
Scarf Tossing & Balloon Keep-Away -
Build foundational tracking skills by monitoring items traveling through space.
Master rhythm, timing, and soft-hand catching mechanics.
Multi-Sport Station Relays-
Foster interpersonal peer communication, encouragement, and leadership traits.
Integrate multiple distinct physical tasks into a fluid team strategy.
Multi-Sport Station Festival -
Independently showcase and execute core coordination skills across multiple settings.
Celebrate individual physical growth, confidence, and sportsmanship.
